One limit worth knowing before you buy: we can't yet read PDFs written in Mandarin Chinese, Standard Arabic, Persian, or Japanese. Web articles in those languages work normally, and you can listen to any PDF we can read in all 15 languages.
In English, one hour covers roughly 9,400 words, so an 8-hour Standard pack is about 75,000 words — roughly 40 news articles or 11 research papers.
Languages spoken more slowly cover less in the same hour, because an hour is an hour of listening: about 8,500 words in Mandarin, 6,800 in Arabic, 5,600 in Persian. Use the summary feature to condense dense reports into short audio briefings and stretch your hours further.
